In the sixteenth century, Saint Louise de Marillac devoted her life to the compassionate, self-effacing care of the aged and sick in Paris. Collaborating with Saint Vincent de Paul, they founded the Congregation of the Daughters of Charity. Villa de Marillac, sponsored by the Vincentian Sisters of Charity, is dedicated to carry on the nursing principles established by its honored namesake, St. Louise de Marillac. Through the years, their nursing ministries have attended to over 717 residents.
In March 1943, Villa de Marillac began as a charitable, non-sectarian facility to serve the sick and convalescent. The facility includes:

Villa de Marillac is a licensed skilled care nursing facility well-equipped and adequately staffed with properly qualified personnel dedicated to serving the geriatric resident in need of nursing care and rehabilitation services.
